A specialist checks the cards
You both post to an independent authentication partner — specialists who spot fakes and assess condition for a living. They check each card is what was described, then send them on. Nobody posts into the dark, and a card that isn't as described never reaches the other person.

We hold the money
Both sides lodge a deposit worth the full trade before anything moves. Cards go straight between you. If someone doesn't send, they lose the deposit and you don't lose your cards.
£17.00 a side on a £500.00 trade
Both include tracked, insured postage — you never pay for a label on a trade. Swapping with someone you already trust? A direct swap is 10% of your own side (minimum £4.00), postage still included. Protection becomes compulsory above £250.00 a side, because that's where being wrong actually hurts.
“So what's the catch on the fee?”
There isn't a percentage taking a slice of your cards. The fee is built from what the service actually costs — a handling charge plus the tracked, insured parcels the deal needs — so it falls as your cards get dearer: 8% a side at £1,000, 4% at £5,000.
A shop takes 20–30% of the value however big the card is, and about 40% if it's raw vintage. That gap is the entire point of building this.
Selling, not trading?
Listing is free— no listing fees, no monthly charge, and if a card doesn't sell you pay nothing at all. When it does sell, we take 10% and you keep 90% — with payment handled securely through Stripe.
No surprise deductions when you cash out: our cut is one flat 10% of the sale price, taken only when a card sells. And the bulk lister fills in live market prices for you, so a whole binder takes minutes to list — not an evening of photographing and typing out auctions.
